We are an independent, family-owned shop on El Cajon Boulevard, and our focus is Honda, Toyota, Lexus, and Acura, along with all Japanese makes and models. Our team brings 40+ years of combined Honda and Toyota experience to every car that comes through the door.
Plenty of people keep their Honda or Toyota well past ten years because these cars are worth keeping. We are set up for exactly that. We work on the makes we know best every single day, so we are familiar with how these cars age, what they tend to need at higher mileage, and how to keep them running for the long haul. Whether you drive a Civic, an Accord, a Camry, a Corolla, a Tacoma, a Lexus, or an Acura, you are bringing your car to people who see it often.
We also speak your language at the counter, literally. Our team helps customers in English, Arabic, Aramaic, Farsi, Dutch, and basic Spanish, so it is easier to explain what is going on with your car and what your options are.

Honest work, no upsell
At a lot of shops the goal is to sell you every service they can think of. Ours is to keep your car running safely for the long haul without breaking the bank. Every job gets a written quote before any work starts, and we will tell you what needs to be handled now versus what can wait. If something is a safety concern, we will say so plainly. If it can hold off until your next visit, we will tell you that too.
Our labor rate is $150 an hour. Most inspections, like a quick brake or maintenance look, are free. If your car needs a real diagnostic to figure out what is wrong, that is $150, and we credit it back toward the repair if you have the work done with us. Air conditioning and electrical diagnostics are the exception: those are $150 and the fee is not credited back, because tracing an A/C or electrical fault is the work. A full pre-purchase inspection for a car you are thinking of buying is $150. Our work is backed by a written warranty, so just ask us for the details on your specific job.

What kinds of cars do you work on?
We focus on Honda, Toyota, Lexus, and Acura, and we work on all Japanese makes and models. We also take other makes when it makes sense, so feel free to ask.
Do I need an appointment, or can I just come by?
Both work. We take appointments, but walk-ins are welcome and we actually prefer them. Early drop-off is available if that is easier for you.
Do you charge for a diagnosis?
A diagnostic is $150, and we credit it back toward your repair if you have the work done with us. The exception is air conditioning and electrical diagnostics, which are $150 and are not credited back. Quick inspections, like a brake or maintenance check, are free.
Do you work on hybrids?
Yes. We service hybrids, including hybrid battery service.
Can you handle tires, alignment, or smog?
We can arrange tires, wheel alignment, and smog checks for you through our partners. Just let us know and we will take care of setting it up.
